01 Box Stringers
As a modern production material, the methods in which steel can be incorporated into
staircase design are continually expanding. Our box stringer staircases offer a unique and
flexible staircase solution with a contemporary style.
Box stringer staircases are supported by a pair of stringers made from steel box section,
usually positioned underneath the treads. The low visual profile and striking ‘zig-zag’ effect of these staircases makes them a highly popular alternative to other contemporary styles.
In addition, the way in which they are built makes box stringer staircases incredibly
adaptable when working with complex shapes and difficult spaces. They also combine incredibly well with a wide array of different balustrades, which can allow the feel of the staircase to become either more modern or a bit more traditional.
